We're looking for a talented and motivated Recruiter to join our internal recruitment team, supporting Publica, our partner Councils and Ubico. In this role, you'll manage end-to-end recruitment activity, partnering with hiring managers to attract, engage and secure the talent needed to deliver vital public services.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping our workforce by recruiting directly for a diverse range of positions across local government and our partner organisations.
This is a hybrid role, with a mix of working from home and from our office in Cirencester, so you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance.
The post is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover, or until the postholder returns – whichever is sooner. The hours for this role are 22.2 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. We are open to discussing some flexibility around the Wednesday working pattern, but attendance on Thursdays and Fridays is essential.

You will need
- At least 2 years’ experience in recruitment (in-house or agency).
- CIPD Level 3 would be desirable but it is not an essential criteria.
- Strong direct sourcing and headhunting skills.
- Experience of managing the full recruitment cycle with multiple stakeholders.
- To be organised, proactive, and results-driven approach.
- To be team player who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
